In 2013 Yemaso Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu made history by being the first Sacramento team to ever win a coveted International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) team title. Our academy has gone on to repeat in 2014, three-peat in 2015, and, in 2016, has added the 4th consecutive team title to our list of accomplishments.
We are very proud of the individual and collective efforts that it took to get there. Winning an IBJJF team title is no small feat. Yemaso BJJ is the only Sacramento academy to ever win an IBJJF team title, let alone four.

For the 4th year in a row Team Yemaso returns to Sacramento, CA. with a team title from the prestigious IBJJF events! Lead Professors Eliot Kelly and Marcos Torregrosa spearheaded the movement and led by example, both achieving top honors in their efforts yet, most impressively, it was the efforts of the team that saw this come to fruition. We are extremely proud of the work and dedication that has been put in to get to this point and from here we can only get better. We witnessed the unity of the competitors, their families, recreational practitioners, and the whole community this weekend and to see them all join in good times truly gives meaning to us professors. Thank you to all that coached, you all ran to each mat to help as much as possible. Thank you to those that supported, even if it was just a smile in the corner when needed.. Thank you everyone who continually makes Team Yemaso what we are: a hard working, ever improving family. These are the fruits of our labors. Review and reflect. Osu @edhjiujitsu @eliotkelly
